why can't Acrobat find cambria font?

When I try to print a Word docx file containing equations using the Adobe PDF (distiller) print driver, the job crashes with the error message below. I tried saving the Word file in other formats first (.docm, .rtf, etc.) and had the same results with each, leading me to believe the problem is in the print driver.
Creating the PDF from Acrobat didn't work, either.

Why? Acrobat 8 (& components such as Distiller installed with it) is not compatible with Windows 7 64-bit.

Compatibility with Windows 7 64-bit begins with Acrobat 9 at update 9.2.

Be well...
