print pdf booklet

I have a Brother MFC-J6510DW. I created a booklet in word, that prints fine when printed from word. When I save it as, or print it to, a pdf then when I try to print it, every other page is upside down. I'm using Adobe acrobat 9 pro. Any help would be MOST appreciated.

What exactly to you mean by "every other page"? Are you referring to the pages before the signature imposition to create the booklet is applied, or are you talking about the pages as they come out of the printer? Is it the backside of each sheet that is rotated?

The PDF looks fine on the screen, it is when it is printed on the printer that the even number pages are upside down. I had a friend print it on her printer and had the same experience. I've tried "printing" the word doc to a PDF, and also using the "save as pdf" option with the same results. I can print it just fine from the Word Doc.

Is the booklet created in Word, or are you printing a document that contains individual pages using the "Booklet printing" option in Acrobat? Also, are the odd pages upside down in the second half of the document?

I sat here for hours last night til I figured it out. I was using the booklet setting in both the adobe and brother print dialogue windows. When I took it out of the Brother dialogue and just used the adobe option.... wah lah... it worked. Thanks!
