Cannot preview PDF in Outlook 2007 Adobe 9 (Full) and Reader X both installed. How do I get Outlook to preview PDFs?

Hi what I think you need to do is turn on the adobe PDF preview handler as it uses this to preview the file, this can or should be found here, Tools - trust centre - attachment handling, then click the attachment and document previews, then tick the adobe PDF preview handler. That should do it if that option is there?Hope it helps?
Thanks for the reply, but that option is not there. I'm trying to find out how to INSTALL this option so that I can check it off. From what I've read on the web, just installing Reader X should put that option in there, but it did not. I did a repair installation, but that still did not fix the issue. I guess I'm looking for some way to MANUALLY install this previewer since the automated install does not seem to work. Looking for any ideas/suggestions. Thanks.

Ok, what I have read to, you need the PDFPrevHNdlr.dll file in your acrobat and or reader folder in your program files, I have uploaded the files here, it's a folder containing the .dll files and notes where exactly to put them

There has to be a jpeg thumbnail in the EXIF for the PDF sort of like viewing the thumbail for RAW camera files like the NEF, CRW and CR2 file types.
Try the next version ofAcrobat
Get started with the next version of Acrobat.
