How do I enable document rights so that I can use the typewriter tool?

Do you want to allow just the typewriter tool or other things as well? Which version of Acrobat are you using? In Acrobat 9, you can enable just the typewriter tool by selecting: Tools > Typewriter > Enable Typewriter Tool in Adobe Reader".In Acrobat 10: File > Save As > Reader Extended PDF > Enable Adding Text in Documents
Just an update -If you are using a pre-Adobe Reader XI release of Adobe Reader you cannot do this.You'd need Acrobat to "enable" the PDF for Reader.If you use Adobe Reader XI you have the full set of Comment annotations and Drawing Markup annotations that come with Acrobat. Be well...
