You can download Acrobat 8 from here: http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-8-9-product-downloads.html - however, keep in mind that it will not run on any modern operating system (and that you of course need a valid serial number that you've received with your original purchase of Acrobat 8). If you registered your copy of Acrobat 8 you can lookup your serial number on the "My Products" page on Adobe's web site: https://www.adobe.com/account/my-products-services.html#MyProductsHeader

Adobe no longer provides the updates for Acrobat versions that have gone to "end of support" at the product update web pages. So, only have the "10" and "11" update sets.

From here you select either "win" or "mac", then you select the version you are interested in and drill down into the directory hierarchy.
