i bought adobe acrobat pro dc and installed it. when i try to export a pdf to power point it brings me to a page that asked me buy a monthly subscription. if i bought the program do i still need a subscription?

No, you don't need a subscription. Are you sure your document is open in Acrobat and not the free Reader? In Acrobat Pro DC, you should be able to select File>Save As, and then select PowerPoint as the output format.
When you launch either Acrobat or Reader the application "name" is presented in the upper left.
As can be seen in the screen capture the "name" "Adobe Acrobat Reader DC" is present when Reader is launched.
