It might be a permissions issue. I had this issue. What I did was reset the user to Standard then back to Administrator., logging back on as that user each time. I discovered a "Feature" in Windows 7. Apparently, it does not apply those permissions to the hidden AppData folder which stores profile information for Adobe. So what I did was set AppData so it was visible. Whne I tried to open AppData, it said I did not have access. I clicked OK and it applied those permissions and I now had access to those folders. Adobe then worked. I was also getting an error that "There was an error opening this document" The file cannot be found" and this resolved that issue as well. Hope this helps
