Reader problem

I upgraded to Pro 10.1.2 and now can't read anything. What happened. Nothing opens. I get the message "There is a problem with Adobe Acrobat/Reader. If it is running, please exit and try again. (1:1)" I exit and try again and get the same message - again, nothing opens.

Try to repair the Acrobat from the Add/remove programs and also give full permission to the Adobe Folder, path to locate the folder is C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe.
