Print command returns Save As window

I have Adobe Reader X v 10.1.2 running on Windows 7. When I click on the Print icon or select Print from the File menu, I get the Print window as expected. I choose my options then press Print. The Save As window appears and nothing ever prints. All other applications print as normal.

Is the "Print to File" box ticked in the Print dialog?

You might try reinstalling Acrobat X.

Did this start after the 10.1.2 update?

It is possible your computer is reporting the worong location of the mouse cursor or your sensative errors are not where Acrobat expects them.

Is this the only menu command or button that does not work properly.

Thank you - the "print to file" box was indeed ticked on the advanced options. sorry, never looked there for a problem. Thanks for the help!
