PDF Background Appears Grey (on screen and on paper) Acrobat X v10.0.0

PDF background appears grey (on screen and on paper) when using Acrobat X v10.0.0. Background appears white when using Reader v9.5.2. A white background is preferred. What setting would be causing Acrobat X to display the PDF with a grey background?

To check to see what your PDF background color looks like go to Edit > Preferences > Accessibility and check to see if the checkbox Replace Document Colors is on or off. This and changing the background color by going to Tools > Pages > Background are the only two places that this can be changed within Acrobat.
