My comment text displays black on the screen but is supposed to be red

I have Adobe Acrobat DC. How do I set my text to display on-screen the color it is set to be? The properties toolbar only shows that I am the author, there are no more options. My comment text is text only, no text box, to save space.

Is it possible that Acrobat is changing the colors of you annotation? There is one option that could do that: It's in Preferences>Accessibility - Open up Preferences, then go the the "Accessibility" category and see if the section "Replace Document Colors" is active. If it is, then disable it and see if that changes the behavior of your comments.

Thank you. That was the problem. How it happened, I don't know; I didn't do it. Probably like when the AutoCAD system variables change on their own........
