Missing PDF Maker files

I am using Adobe Acrobat XI Pro on Windows 7 64 Bit with office 2010. I have a system that, when we try to use the combine files into a PDF we get the error that it is missing pdf maker files. It asks if we want to run repairs. Have run repairs and done a complete uninstall and re-install of the SW. Still no fix. Have multiple other systems running same set up and working perfectly fine. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

If a "normal" re-installation of Acrobat does not fix a problem, it's time for a more thorough cleaning of anything that the Acrobat uninstall routine may have left on the system: Run Adobe's Cleaner (http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html) after you uninstall Acrobat. Make sure you read and understand the instructions that come with the Cleaner.

Ran the Cleaner. User can combine two PDF's but whenever they add any microsoft office file they still get the "missing PDF maker files" error.

Here are some debugging tips from Adobe for this type of problem: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/pdfmaker-unavailable-office-2007-office.html

checked the add-ins. It is enabled but marked as inactive.

I've got the add-ins working with office correctly. But still getting error when trying to use any office file in combining. If i put a power point file in it says immidately that file is not supported. if i use a word document it tries to combine then fails with the error PDF maker files not found.

This may be a case where you need help from Adobe's support. You can contact them here: http://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html (don't use any of the "Forum" options, otherwise you will end up here again)
