Is there a way to hide or collapse up the blank area when fields are hidden?

Is there a way to hide or collapse the blank area in a form when fields are hidden, so that there is not a blank area between visible fields? You helped me understand how to create multiple text boxes from a drop down menu, and now I would like to get rid of the blank area where the text boxes are hidden.

For a form created in Acrobat, what you're asking about is possible, but it involves some more advanced scripting. You would have to move the fields by changing their rect property. This topic would best be handled in the Acrobat JavaScript forum here:
