Is it possible to copy selected text into the highlight if I have already highlighted lots of words?

I have already been through lots of PDF files and highlighted relevant words. Since getting Acrobat X pro I have realised that to do anything with the comments (eg. creating a comment summary page) I had to change my preferences to "copy selected text into highlight...". So I am wondering if there is some way to add in the text to all the highlights I have made prior to changing my preferences?

Thank you!

I'm assuming you discovered the setting that automatically does that (under Edit - Preferences - Commenting), but unfortunately it only works for new comments, not existing ones...

This is why I created a script that does the same for pre-existing comments, so you won't need to re-do them all manually.
Have a look here: http://try67.blogspot.com/2011/04/acrobat-retroactively-copy-selected.html
