Am new to Windows 7. Just installed Adobe Reader to open pdf files I am receiving as email attachments. None of them will open - when I click on the attachment I am taken to a Windows Media Center. from there nothing happens. Maybe Adobe Reader isn't the right software to use for this? I miss my old computer and XP.

Couple of options:
- The files you recieve are not actually PDF files.
- Reader is not associated as the default application that opens PDF files.

Try saving the files in question locally and then open Reader yourself, click Open, and select them.
See what happens then...
