How to keep embedded files when converting Word into PDF?

Dear George,
is there a way to keep embedded documents in word to work once you do the conversion to PDF? I have a file with a lot of embedded documents (word or PDF) that need to be converted but the functionality of opening the embedded document is lost if I convert. Is there a way to solve this?
thanks
Stefan
