How can you discover what is causing a document level JavaScript not to run

Have a document level JavaScript that was running ok. Now I find that when I make alterations to fields in the form it no longer runs. No warning or error messages are appearing. Is there anyway I can discover what is blocking it?

Hi.

A document level script is expected to run only once when the document is opened. It's the best place to declare functions.
