How to change writing direction permanently?

How can I change writing direction from R->L to L->R in the text box permanently? When I change it before text adding it always goes back to the previous setting and I have to change it again before every one.

If you are referring to a text field, and supposing you have selected the "Enable right-to-left language options" in the Language preferences, select the "Left To Right" option in the Appearance tab in the field and after that right-click the text field and select the "Use Current Properties as New Defaults" option.

Do you mean a text form field or a text annotation? Do you mean the alignment (justification)? for a form field, it should be on the options tab under 'alignment' and it should stay after you change it. If it is an annotation, how are you changing it?
