How can I split the view of a document?

Can I have two different view onto the same document or do I need to open two copies of the same document

Choose Window > Split.
Acrobat splits the document into two views, which you can navigate separately. If you click the top version, that becomes the active view. If you make changes to the top version, only the top view changes. The same is true for the bottom version. If you click anywhere in the bottom view, the bottom view becomes active
When you're finished making changes, Choose Window > Remove Split to restore the document to a single view.
