How do I overlay one PDF document with another?

I am trying to overlay a portion of a saved PDF document with a page from another PDF document. How is this done?

You can do this using the background or watermark feature in Adobe Acrobat. See the Tools>Pages>Background / Watermark features in Acrobat.

You can either use Acrobat's Watermark feature or template spawning feature (via JavaScript). Which version of Acrobat are you using?
