Error printing pdf - "There were no pages selected to print"

We are using Adobe Reader 11.0.07 over Win 8.1. when we try to print a multipage pdf document it returns the error "Unable to print document" and then "There were no pages selected to print"

I have tried to print as image, Repair installation and remove and reinstall Reader. No change.

I have searched the blogs for answers to this problem that has been around for years and have not found a solution that works.

Can you help?

Hi ,

Try the below step
Open reader
1. Edit
2. Preferences.
3. Security (Enhanced)
4. Uncheck Enable Protected Mode at startup

Yeah, as I said, I have scoured the web for any possible answer. This was one of the first possible solutions I found. Doesn't work.
