Error 1324-How to fix?

How do I fix Error 1324? I cannot remove earlier versions of Reader either. I get the same message.

Use the "cleaner" tool (http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html ) to remove any traces of your previous installation.

The Cleaner did remove Reader 10.1.6 from my computer. I then tried to download and install Reader 11. The install got to 67%, the same as before, then stalled and I got the same error message (#1324). I now have no Adobe Reader on my computer. I then downloaded SODA PDF Reader. It works OK but is not as convenient as Reader was.

I am sorry that this did not work. The discussion here http://forums.adobe.com/thread/463026 suggests that this problem may be caused by the location of your My Documents folder, and if that's the case, you should be able to point this to a local directory, install Reader, and then have it point back to the network location.

Thank yo again. But How do I point "My Documents" to C? It is now under C:/users/Norman/. Adobe reader was under C:/programs(x86). That folder is now gone.
