Editing Adobe Reader Documents

I have documents which were created in Adobe Reader X. I wish to make changes to the documents but have been unable to do so despite having created the documents originally and also having the
Adobe Acrobat Standard program. Thank you.

By "document which were created in Adobe Reader X", I take it to mean the online Adobe creation service was used. Since, Reader itself does not have the ability to create PDF documents. This service is linked in Reader.

Acrobat Professional has tools for modifying content in a PDF. But Reader does not. And Standard only has limited ability. I don't believe it has the content editing tools.

The correct method of modifying a PDF is to modify the original source document, and then reconvert it to PDF. Do you have the original?
