Converting a PDF Greater than 100mb to Word

I have been engaged in a dialogue with the forum about converting a PDF of about 168mb to Word. It seems that this cannot occur through the Export PDF facility which I have purchased without dividing the book concerned up into small pieces and thus losing its integrity in terms of pagination, indexes etc.

So, is there some other way in which I or some expert or other can achieve this result through a different method other than retyping the whole document every time I want a current version? I appreciate that this service could involve a cost.

Hi Bob,

You can export from PDF to Word if you own a copy of Acrobat X Pro or Standard, and there is no file size limit as there is in the online services.
There are also third party tools that can do this ( Google Export PDF to Word) but I don't have any direct experience with them. I don't believe any of them are perfect ( i.e., you get a prefect Word doc result) including Acrobat, but Adobe has done quite a bit of work in this area and really improved it in Acrobat X.
