Can't convert Word document to pdf.

When I try to convert an Office 2007 Word document to pdf using acrobat I get the following error message: "unable to find "adobe pdf" resource files. "Acrobat PDFmaker". Can someone help with this?

Try this

Copy all the files from C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 10.0\Acrobat\Settings (for 32bit OS)
C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat 10.0\Acrobat\Settings (for 64 bit OS)
These files are Adobe PDF settings files commonly known as Job options

Paste those files into C:\Users\'User Name'\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe PDF\Settings (Windows Vista and 7)
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Shared\Documents\Adobe PDF\Settings (Windows XP)

You have to enable the hidden folders to do this

Now try to convert Word to PDF

Thank you for your reply but I did a clean uninstall of Acrobat 10 and then reinstalled my Acrobat 9.0 Pro and all worked fine. I'm staying away from 10.0.
