No, Pagemaker does not have that facility to make PDF files, it can only generate its owns PMD file. I have worked with that program ever since it came on the market decades ago

However, now I have solved the problem, so I am a glad person :-)

Why do you want to install the outdated Acrobat 5?

Can't you export PDFs directly from Pagemaker?

Whatever the reason(s) you will not be able to install/use any Acrobat 5 product family in Windows 7 (such a combination is not compatible/supported).

Be well...

Hi

you can't able to run the Adobe Acrobat 5.0 in Windows 7 It's does not Run the Application. it's show error message.

You need have Product Key to run the Adobe Acrobat 5.0 Verison in Lower verion OS (Windows Vista Windows XP) but now you cant able to Purchase Product Key for Adobe Acrobat 5.0 that I think so..

For What Purpose you need to Adobe Acrobat 5.0

Thanks for all your replies. However, I have solved my problem to generate PageMaker files (PMD) into PDF on a windows 7 machine. First I copied (not install) the entire Acrobat 5 folder from my old XP machine to the same destination on my windows 7. There, I have the "Acrodist.exe" file, which I later make use of to generate a PDF file. Secondly I simply installed a Zerox virtual post script printer changed the parameters to print to file and some other few adjustemnts, paper size etc. Hereafter, I can generate a Post Script file from PageMaker and this file do I put into Acrodist.exe and voila,I have a perfect PDF file
