When I fill out a form in adobe it says to click "sign" to save the form with text in it and then click done signing to save it and attach it. The done signing tab is not highlighted and i cannot click on it

Adobe Reader forces you to "place signature" before it will consider the document signed. If you have to send a paper document, as my bank requires, and you want to hand-sign the document, you have to resort to a workaround to avoid using Adobe's default signature styles. You can save a 1 pixel square transparent png image and then place this image using the "place signature" too. Then you can print the document and sign-it by hand.
