Adobe Reader text not clear or sharp

All of a sudden the text on all of my Adobe reader doucments are not very clear and crisp when viewed on the monitor screen. When I zoom up they become fine. Of coursr now you can not fit the page on the screen. This started about two weeks ago. Is this a monitor/PC problem or is there an Adobe setting I need to change?

You might have a look at the settings in the Page Display tab in the Preferences. Check the settings in the Rendering section, and toggle some to see if you get better results; you may have to restart Reader to make the settings work.

On the Right hand pane
Rendering Section
Smooth Text: For Laptop/LCD Screens (Change to this value).

It worked for me.
