Adobe Reader margin settings

I'm using Adobe Reader and when I go to print an 11x17 drawing in PDF format, a portion of the drawing is cut off due to the margin set-up. In "Properties", I found where the margins are set at 1", but I am unable to change them. I only need to reduce the one margin approximately 1/4". Is this possible and if so, how?

I believe that margin set-up you are referring to depends on the printer driver, it is a printer driver property.
What you can do when printing from Adobe Reader is to choose the "Shrink oversized pages" option in its print dialog, or try to set a "Custom Scale":
