Acrobat Pro X Mac Preflight Fixup "Convert registration color to black" is Broken

Acrobat Pro 9 Mac Preflight Fixup "Convert registration color to black" works fine.

Acrobat Pro X Mac Preflight Fixup "Convert registration color to black" is Broken. The elements set to All/Registration are not changed when the preflight fixup is run.

The full preflight for “Digital Printing (B/W)” also leaves the rego marks in separation all, instead of converting to mono (this profile also uses the fixup command to convert all objects from registration to grayscale). Again, in Acrobat Pro 9 this works, while it is broken in Acrobat Pro X.

I have confirmed with Acrobat's Object Inspector and PitStop’s Enfocus Inspector at the object level.

Is this a Mac OS issue, or are Windows users of Acrobat X also having this issue?

Is this an issue in Acrobat XI?

If you think you found a bug in Acrobat, please report it here: https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/mmform/index.cfm?name=wishform

Do you have a test file? I would try to run it in Acrobat XI, this way we are comparing apples to apples - this problem may be triggered by your specific PDF file.

Yes, I have a test file, however any file with registration marks created out of InDesign or Illustrator would do:

Before submitting a bug report, I was looking for confirmation from other users and to see if this was user error or OS and or version dependent.

Hi,

I am using Acrobat XI Pro, with latest patches and updates in Windows 7. Same thing happens here. I just arrived to this site and thread looking for an answer to my problem and I see I am not alone :(

Curious thing: In the PDF I arranged as a test, a 100/100/100/100 CMYK can be changed into 0/0/0/100 CMYK but the registration color cannot. And, as it is not a spot colour, I cannot change it but with the command that selects "Registration color inside the trimbox" (or maybe cropbox, this is a Spanish Acrobat and the translation is so-so). But it does not seem to work.

Thanks in advance.
