windows 7 no thumbnails, only preview (WHY?)
When viewing files in explorer and using thumbnails, for examples extra large icons, only the PDF logo appears and not the actual thumbnail of the file. What am I doing wrong?
I have Adobe Acrobat XI standard installed.
BTW, I can see the file in the preview mode.
It appears, Adobe has no answer that I can find after looking for more that 5 hours over the past 2 days. It appears, A LOT of people have been complaining about this problem for ~2 years. I say that without actually counting all the complaints that I came across, and there were A LOT.
You can at least use the preview pane (1) file at a time, but that is not the best solution. I too find this to be a very big problem when using explorer to try to quickly view the solid model file image, its detail drawing image and the more friendly PDF image, to ensure all three are similar or the same.
It is by far quicker to look at the extra large icon of the 3 files while glancing over 50 -100 files at a time. At least, the obvious differences show up right away and then the use of the preview pane becomes much more helpful. I can only imagine those who use it for identifying the first page of each file and need to use the visual method of identifying.
Sorry Adobe, but you really should correct this problem!
Thanks in Advance....
