I received a document that was created in PDF format and I'm unable to edit. Looking to have access to modify/make changes to documents

What product and version do you have?Reader cannot edit PDFs!Has any type of security been applied to the PDF?How was the PDF created?The creating program should be listed under the PDF's PDF Properties.
