how to file scans in an action

I have over 500 bank statements and bills I need to scan then file into many sub folders but I need to make a note on the scan examp: auto expense on a scan bill-then that bill has to go to the sub-folder labeled car repair-sitting in the main folder name year 2013.
Can I scan all auto invoices at once then have an action do the rest?

If the files are OCRed and there's some way of determining which file is which, then yes.

Otherwise you'll need to create (and run) a separate Action for each type of file.
