acrobat xi error in printing to adobe printer driver

I am trying to print to the Adobe Acrobat XI which I upgraded to today. Some items print fine. Others give me errors such as this below... and I am not sure why. I did not have any issues prior to today using version 9. Thanks.

It appears that you've a font related problem.

You may want to change any 'not generic' fonts used in the authoring file.

But the original document is not my file... why would this happen with XI but never has happened in the past with version 9. Is this something new?
