Why can't I print PDF files?

I cannot seem to print any PDF files using any of my printers. I'm on a PC with Windows XP Professional operating system. I have Adobe Reader XI installed. I've tried the "quick fix" of selecting "Print as Image" and it does nothing. Once I hit the print button, the print job does not show up. It won't print to any of my three printers, so it must not be an individual printer problem. Any idea what the issue is and how I can resolve it?

I'M not sure Acrobat XI is even Compatible Windows XP. If You've tried 3 different Printers its not likely to be the Print Driver. Unless XP Print Drivers don't work with XI.

Someone else will have Jump in. Most software lately removes backward compatibility with older systems.
