Answers / Edit PDF
I have a PDF that came to us, from a different typesetter. We need to edit, and do not have the fonts used. We need to make these edits, before the book goes out. I get the following error "The change to a different font was not done because the chosen font and the font encodings in the document differ and could not be resolved". Could you please help me resolve this. We would like to substitute a different (similar) font with the few edits. Thank you very kindly in advanced in helping me out.

You really need to use the application that created the pdf to make editing changes. Acrobat can edit text, but it has severe limitations (as you've discovered).Regards,Clinton
Thank you very much for your answer. Although, I do wish there was a way to replace the existing font. Thank you again.
