I have a pdf document with 25 pages and i want to split it to 5 pages each. is there an option to do this in Adobe reader XI. Do i have to install a specific plugin to avail this facility. can i save the 5 document with the name that i want to or will it be saved with a default name? also is there any way that i can rename the pdf documents with the name that i actually want it to be.

No, Reader can't extract pages from a PDF. You need Acrobat or some other 3rd-party application.
