Printing multiple pages per sheet without scaling (i.e. two full-size 8.5x11 pages on 11x17)

I have a PDF document with 8.5x11 pages and I want to print two pages at a time on 11x17 paper without scaling down the original pages. Multiple pages per sheet automatically scales the pages down (by some unspecified amount) and I can't seem to find a way to print two full-size pages side-by-side. Is this possible?

Yes, it is possible.

With the two page 8.5x11 PDF open visit Print Setup.
Select a paper size of 11 x 17 and an orientation of landscape.
"OK" out of the dialog.
Select File > Print.
In the Print dialog use the drop-down menu for Page Scaling to select "Multiple pages per sheet".
From the Pages per sheet drop-down menu select "Custom... 2 by 1".
From the Page Order drop-down menu select "Horizontal".
