Answers / Printing & Prepress
We have newly got a computer with Acrobat X Standard already installed. As we mainly use Acrobat for creating PDF-X3 files for prepress I'm missing the Preflight tool, which I know from our old Acrobat 6 Pro. Does this tool no longer exist, or what have I to do for verifying our PDF-X3 files? Many thanks in advance.Charlie

Preflight is only availabe in the Pro version, not in standard. For standard conform files, there will be a "Stanards" navigation pane where you can validate a file. This does not give you all the options that preflight has, but it's better than nothing.
