Is it possible to print just some pages of a PDF document?

I have this large PDF file I received, but I only want to print out a few of the pages as hardcopy

Yes, select the page thumbnails and choose File > Print, or in the Print dialog box, select Pages and then enter the page numbers or ranges you want to print, separating them by commas.

So if I select discontinuous pages from the thumbnails (e.g. page 1, 2, and 9) and then select print, it will only print those 3 pages?
