Hi,Accordiing to this Adobe article on issues with Reader X, the 1321 error has to do with something running in the background while you are trying to install-http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/kno...Hope this helps,DimitriWindJack Solutionswww.pdfscripting.comwww.windjack.com
Disable your antivirus protection and run the update.
I disabled Antivirus and quit all programs before I tried to install the update each time. The Task Manager shows some "processes" and "services" running obviously, but I don't feel comfortable stopping any more of them than I already have during the install. I was hoping someone had identified a conflict with a particular service or had improved the install. I still get error 1321, a year later.
