How do I set the default font and color for the "Add Text" tool?

I have referred to several strings where this questions was asked:
"How do I set the default font and color for the "Add Text" tool?",
However, the responses address other questions, or diverge into a discussion of why it is needed, or simply said it was not possible.

I find it difficult to believe that the default setting for something as basic as font and color for a text tool is not available.

Can someone please answer this question without diverging into the other related benefits of Acrobat?
