How do I get materials into a 3d pdf?

I'm testing 3d pdf for Revit, and exporting my Revit models to 3d pdf to share with my customers. One of them has asked for more realistic glazing Does anybody know how to make a 3d pdf with this?

Is this even possible?

Try using the updated version of 3D PDF for Revit 2014! It has the ability to create very realistic textures and materials, including glass. Check out an example PDF here. Let me know what you think. Just make sure you have the free update for the latest software.

Your ability to change the model is very limited once within Acrobat, and is more geared towards changing the lighting and view. Specifically, there's no access to make any changes to materials properties. If you want to change the material, you'll need to do that within Revit before exporting your model.
