When working with multiple repeat PDF files (e.g. those generated by SAP software), is it possible to force Adobe (in this case Adobe Reader X and Adobe Acrobat Professional 8) to save to the most recent location instead of defaulting to the Temp location, saving a lot of frustrating folder navigation for each fileAn older version of Adobe Reader seemed to do this by default.

You can't. You best option is to place a shortcut to your work folder in the default folder of Acrobat.
