How do I lock the text to the pdf?

I created a form from a different file. It looks amazing, but when I send it out, people have the ability to edit (change/delete) the text. How can I lock the text so they cannot edit my text, but still fill-in the form?

A number of ways.

  1. Make the you do not want changed through the keyboard fields read only. JavaScript will still be able to change the field values.
  2. Apply a password to lock permissions.
  3. Flatten the fields you do not want changed and make them part of the PDF, but a user with Acrobat could still edit the PDF or redact the text

I wold go with making the fields I do not want changed to read only and apply a password to the PDF to only allow printing and filling in form fields.
