How do I convert a scanned PDF to a Word Doc

I only have a scanned version of my 5 page resume PDF file. I'm trying to create a word document with the scan. No luck

Export as Word works only if you have actual text in your document.

Therefore, you have to create text, and you will do that with the OCR functions of Acrobat.

Then you should be able to export, or at least to copy/paste.

Open the scanned PDF file.

Click File > Save As >Microsoft Word Document.

The Save As dialog box opens.

Name the file and select the save to location.

Click Settings > Select DOCX & No Graphics > Click Okay.

Click Save and allow to process.

Open the Word file and delete extraneous characters, spacing, etc.
