Check Box Won't Let Me Check It

I am creating a form in Acrobat9 Pro and I drew a check box, then went to preview it and the check won't appear. I have double checked that my font is set to black and it still doesn't work. It doesn't even work when I tell it to be automatically checked. I think some setting must be off, but I don't know what. I have a lot of check boxes on this form and I really need help!

Assuming that you are really in Acrbat Pro's Form Edit mode (and not in LiveCycle Designer), what happens when you leave the Form Edit mode and test in normal view?

You also may make sure that the field is not read-only or hidden in view (hidden or visible for print only).

Finally you might make sure that there is no other field covering the checkbox field.

Hope this can help.

Max Wyss.
