Can only search in first of appended documents

I wanted to print a number of bank statements using Scansoft PDF Create so I could search for specific expenditures over a number of years. The statements were PDFs. I opened each and printed it appending each statement to the document. However when I went to search for e.g. Phone Invoice, it would only search the first statement and would not continue through the 80 pages or so. Can anyone suggest a means of appending saved docs so that the whole completed PDF is searchable.
Thanks,
Brian

Being an Adobe hosted user site for Acrobat Answers it'd be rather inappropriate to get into discussions about third-party applications. Scansoft support would be an appropriate venue for questions about that application.
.
Regardless of the PDF processor used (Acrobat, Adobe Reader, others) a scanner's output is an image of text not text itself. So, nothing for a "find" or "search" to grab.
.
Use Acrobat to develop an OCR output for the scanned image of text in a PDF. This will provide something for Acrobat's / Adobe Reader's find / search to grab.
.
Be well...
