Annots3D overlay

Hi,
I am trying to overlay one Annots3D over another. It seems possible to design it. However, I'd like to set focus or hide one of the two to let the reader understand which he should look at from time to time. Is there any chances to achieve this result?

Have you considered placing the objects on different layers, and controlling the visibility by turning the layers off and on?

Michael,
I tried with layers but it seems Annots3D are diminished to a 2D image/poster. They can't be viewed as 3D objects any more.
