All PDFs in one window

How do I open multiple PDFs in ONE window? Currently every PDF opens in it's own window. Would like to open in one window with separate tabs for each PDF. Using Adobe Reader XI

You can't. This is no longer possible to run in that mode.

In old versions of Acrobat (e.g. 5), all documents opened in the same Acrobat window - at least on Windows. Adobe later decided to unify the Mac and Windows version by adding the then new mode where every document opens in a new window. WIth Acrobat 9 (this was an option back then). With Acrobat 9 this was made the only way to display PDF files.

You can't. The last Acrobat/Reader version which could do it was (if I remember correctly) Acrobat/Reader 8.

What you can do is bombard Adobe with an according Feature Request, and/or (if your organization is big enough that even Adobe listens to) have a serious talk with them.

Hope this can help.
